1. 7 Days

Produced based on the novel of the same name, 7 Days is one of the most interesting and best horror movies of the year. The story is mainly about the revenge of a surgeon, Mr. Claude Legault, whose daughter have been murdered. Because he is so angry with the murder, after he was arrested by the police, Mr. Claude has spent days cruelty treat the murderer through abducting and torturing him. The movie is so horrified through those cruel punishment of the surgeon to the murderer. It really takes the audience mind away for a while.

2. Dead Snow – Red Vs. Dead

This horror movie is actually a continuation of the last Dead Snow, directed by Tommy Wirkola. And, it starts with a time that Martin, the main character of the movie, gets up from his hospital bed after his car accident. However, Martin after that has found out that one of his hands has been removed and replaced. But, what that is tricky is his hand has been replaced by the hand of an undead zombie. After realizing that, he tried to escape from the hospital, and on the way, he has used the super power of that hand to kill the police offer. The story, then, falls into its most interesting line.

3. Insidious

Insidious is the American horror movie, produced by FilmDistrict. All the two series of the movie have gained such a great success. In total, it is reported that this movie has grossed over $256 million globally. The movie is about the new young couple who have moved into their new home. Soon after that, they have encountered various problems till they believe that the house is haunting, and there is thing that is trying to destroy the whole family. Things go even scarier in the later part of the movie.

4. The Evil Inside

The Evil Inside is another great option that has entertained many audience through their horrified story. The movie is about a teenager called Sarah. He was firstly physically bullied by her friends, and one day, her parents have left her at home. And, that is the time where another group of the teenagers is having a party around Sarah’s home. She immediately starts to have a premonition after seeing those guests. However, soon, there is really an accident and one of them got killed. And, most interestingly, Sarah could envision that even before it happens.

5. Housebound

Housebound is among the latest and best horror movies of this year. It was released only in September 2014. And, it has received a hug positive review from its audience. The movie tells a story of a criminal Keylie who was charged to a home detention. So, she moved to a home she has grown up in earlier. However, she realized that the house is haunting. So, she began to team up with the security guard and investigate it.

6. Boo

Boo, though has been produced quit a bit of time ago, is still very attractive to many people who like best horror movies. And, the story features a group of teenagers who has discovered the haunting spirit in a hospital. And, later they have found the person who have been haunted and prevented from leaving that old hospital in a Halloween night.

7. The Possession

The youngest daughter of a family, Em, has bought an antique wooden box from the sale-yard nearby, and she becomes so obsess with that box. Soon after that, the rest of the family started to realize that, and Em herself started to be unstable. One day Em has violently attacked her classmate when he tried to take the box away. And, later on, that Em has told others about the invisible woman whom she said is living in that wooden box. That is the short summary of the film, The Possession.

8. Orphan

Another incredible best horror movie to see in 2015 would be the Orphan. The movie began when Esther, an sweet orphan, has been welcomed to a family. Esther is so sweet to everyone she meets, but she has hidden a dark secret. After she stayed in the family for awhile, many disastrous events have happened to the family. The whole story of this movie has developed very well that it would keep entertaining their audience to the end.

9. Kill List

Kill List is a type of horror movies which is more thrilling with action, not the ghosty spirit. The story is about the two soldiers who have left from Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. After returning home for awhile, they have decided to work as a contract killer. The killing story has began to blow the mind of the audience.

10.  Cradle Will Fall

Cradle Will Fall is a horror movie which tells the story of a young mother who has fallen into depression after giving birth to her son. She then becomes even more mentally unstable. And, the rest of the story continues with the protection of the family by her oldest son in that remote farm they have lived in.
